     Saturday, September 13th – Paris

  • Arrival in Paris CDG AIRPORT, during the afternoon

Welcome by our “wine guide” English speaking and transfer by coach to the Center of Paris

The guide will be with you during all the tour.

  • Accommodation in an three star hotel –in the center of Paris (near the Opera and Galleries Lafayette Shop)
  • Dinner in a very nice restaurant “Le Petit Riche”, a classic restaurant with a history back to the 1800s.a classic restaurant with a history back to the 1800s.
  •  Return to the hotel and overnight in double room.

 

 Sunday, September 14th – Paris

  • After breakfast, guided visit of Paris: Opera, Concorde, Champs-Elysées, Montmartre …
  • Lunch in a traditional restaurant in Montmartre.
  • During the afternoon, free time in Paris for shopping.
  • Dinner a traditional brasserie
  • Return to the hotel and overnight in double room.

 

Monday, September 15th – Reims and Epernay in Champagne

  • After breakfast departure to Reims.

Guided visit of Reims and its wonderful cathedral

Notre-Dame Cathedral of Reims, the Gothic art masterpiece where the kings of France were crownded, was one of the first monuments registered as a Unesco World Heritage.

  • Champagne tasting at Champagne Pommery.

You will discover History of the Pommery House, its Champagne winemaking process and its contemporary art collection.

  • Departure to Epernay
  • Lunch in a very nice restaurant, in Epernay.
  • During the afternoon, participants will discover “Avenue De Champagne” in Epernay, the main street where all the wineries are based…
  • Visit and Wine tasting in Moet & Chandon
  • Dinner in a cellar atmospher.
  • Return to the hotel and overnight in double room.

 

Tuesday, September 16th – Beaune 

  • After breakfast continuation of the road to Burgundy.
  • Arrival in Beaune:   Accommodation in a nice three stars hotel in the center of Beaune.
  • Lunch in a traditional brasserie in the city center of Beaune
  • During the afternoon guided visit of beaune and Hotel Dieu, an original Burgundian monument contructed by Nicolas Rolin, Chancelor of the Dukes of Burgundy and his wife Guigone de Salins in the middle of the XV century.
  • Dinner in a  magnificent XVII century cellar
  • Return to the hotel and overnight in double room.

 

Wednesday, September 17th  – Beaune and Côte de Nuits

  • After breakfast, departure to the Grand Crus Vineyards: Romanée-Conti, Chambertin, Vougeot, Musigny.
  • Visit and Wine tasting in Trapet Domain and tasting lunch on site.
  • After Lunch, visit of Chateau du Clos de Vougeot, which was originally a wine farm, built in the 12thlcentury by monks from the nearby Abbey of Cîteaux.  The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin acquired the Château in 1945, and started to restore it, turning it into the seat of the Order.
  • Private dinner in Remoissenet Père et Fils, where you will visit the XVI century cellar and taste different wine during your candlelight dinner.
  • Return to the hotel and overnight in double room

 

Thursday, September 18th  – Beaune and Côte de Beaune

  • After breakfast, departure to the Corton, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, and Puligny Vineyards.
  • Visit of François Freres, cooperage factory (Demptos, Radoux, Treuil, Trust Hungary…) with the director Max Gigandet…
  • Wine tasting lunch in a welcoming “table d’hôte” in Puligny-Montrachet. During this lunch you will learn a lot about the wine you will taste thanks to the sommelier.
  • After lunch transfer to Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport to reach the city of Bordeaux
  • Overnight in a château hôtel in an authentic village near  Bordeaux.

 

Friday, September 19th  – Bordeaux-Saint-Emilion

  • After breakfast, departure to Saint-Emilion. Guided visit of Saint-Emilion and wine tasting in Chateau Figeac, Premier Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Emilion.

Situated to the west of Saint-Emilion close to the boundaries of Pomerol, FIGEAC is a dream place for nature to thrive. It has its own eco-system stretching over 40 hectares (99 acres) of vines with an additional 14 hectares (35 acres) of grounds, vegetable gardens, hedgerows, meadows, a pond and woods, surrounding the chateau building.

  • Lunch in Saint-Emilion
  • During the afternoon, visit of Pomerol and Wine Tasting at Château Petit-Village which is located in the heart of Pomerol, on a magnificent clay and gravel plateau.
  • Dinner and overnight in double room.

 

Saturday, September 20th  – Bordeaux-Médoc

  • After breakfast, departure to Chateaux du Médoc Road from Margaux to Beychevelle.
  • Visit and Wine tasting at Chateau Kirwan, 5th Grand Cru Classé.
  • Lunch in a typical restaurant of Médoc.
  • Then transfer to Listrac in order to meet Ghislain Pages family at Chateau Fourcas-Dupré.
  • Visit and  private tasting lunch with Ghislain and his brother Patrice.
  • Back to your hotel
  • Dinner  and overnight in double room.

 

Sunday, September 21st – Bordeaux-Paris CDG

  • After breakfast, transfer to Bordeaux station in order to take a TGV to Roissy CDG Airport (trip: 3hours15.)

End of the tour.
