DAY IN STRASBOURG
Morning arrival in Strasbourg to be met by our local guide. Lunch in a « Winstub », a traditional Alsace style restaurant.

uropean capital, Strasbourg is a UNESCO World Heritage site. After the tour there will be free time to explore this wonderful city.
Accommodation tonight at the 3 star Hôtel Arnold in Itterswiller (double room) with a typical Alsacien dinner.
DAY IN COLMAR AND THE VINEYARDS
After breakfast, we will take the Vineyard Route from Strasbourg to Thann, visiting Colmar, the Alsace Wine Capital.
A visit to Chateau Haut-Koenigsbourg, a fortress built on a 700 metre high hilltop during the XII Century.
Wine tasting at Domaine Laugner at the foot of the Chateau Haut-Koenigsbourg. During this tasting you will discover the different plants used in Alsace wines.
An Alsatian lunch where you will have the opportunity to taste « flamekuche » a delicious Alsace ‘pizza’. After lunch there will be a guided tour of Colmar. This city resembles Venice with its charming canals. Not to be missed are the Gothic and Renaissance monument in the Old Town: the St. Martin Church and the Unterlinden Museum which houses the famous Isenheim Altarpiece.
After the tour there will be free time to explore Colmar.
Return to the hotel with overnight accommodation in a double room and dinner included.
DAY FOR A WALKING TOUR
After breakfast our route will take us through the vineyards: Itterswiller – Andlau – Mittelbergheim – Barr – Obernai
With our local guide, we will discover the vineyards, the crus, the plants and gain an understanding of the seasons in the vineyards.
Lunch will be a picnic in the middle of the vine (or in a Winstub) and will include a tasting of the wines we discovered this morning.
The tour ends in Barr
